Introducing the revamped version of “Predator” or Pred for short.
That isn’t her name, but the man that created her did not feel like giving his creations names so he gave them titles instead.
The eldest of the creations or ‘demons’ was human at one point and takes it upon himself to give them all names, because he thinks some of the titles are utterly stupid things to call another living being.
Also: ‘demons’ are roughly the human equivalent of a demonican hence the similar name and my apparent lack of creativity.
In truth I never gave the religions in Condemned much thought before, mainly due to most of my religious thought planning going into Mystic Wood.
Q:Here with random questions just like you requested~ BD *although I am shit with questions and you've probably answered them all before* I will endeavor to make them hard ones. BD *shot* What are the religions of some of the various races like?
Oh jesus, you basically asked me the perfect hard one.
Aaahhh, ok so religions.
Very few of them believe in the existence of just one true ‘God’, though there are a few that see it that way (humans mainly). The Eluva religion is the most widely known one outside of that, and they see the legends of the celestials as those of their gods. They believe that the extinct race of giants actually created everything and even lived in a floating island where they could watch over all of their subjects. There are a few who are categorized as Creators while other’s are the Divine Help, or Watchers and also Guiders. So basically there are the few that were the brains of Creation, and then there were those who kept an eye on the creations to make sure that everything was going well, and when it didn’t they let the Guiders know so that they could descend from their island and put things back on track.
I hate you, you asked the worst question ever, thank you I shall work on this some more and try to figure out some more diversity in religious sections.
Q:what kind of races are in the condemned world?
I actually had to switch to my laptop for this because virtual keyboards and my brain are not friends for this question.
There are quite a few races! Though I have yet to put up examples of them all. We have humans, ‘demons’, raptivans, marines, eluva, celestials, broskin, and tivians so far. Outside of humans and ‘demons’, I usually have placed all the others under a broad category of Humanoids because I was a big dumb and didn’t have individual race names for everything yet, but anyway!
Raptivans are the more bird-like race that tend to live in the more forested areas of the continent that most of the races reside on, examples being the pictures I drew of King and Daemon.
Marines have no examples yet and I’m still messing with them, but they are the race that lives mostly in the water and are rarely seen except for trading and such.
Eluva are typically rather pointy eared and they like to live in mountainous areas. Their ears range from being very long and pointed to shorter and with a bit more of a rounded tip. Ares is an eluva and so is Luna (though I don’t remember if I have a picture of her up or not.)
Celestials are basically giants that are believed to have gone extinct over a couple thousand or so years ago. They had their own island but everyone thinks that they were just a legend. Basically character spoiler, but Advisor is an example of a celestial in their more common form.
Broskin are like the eluva but they have splits in their ears, giving them multiple points and their skin tends to be darker. Ibis and Bio (no current picture of him up yet I think) are two examples and possibly Grace, though she has no splits in her ears, but rather ridges that run up each side.
Tivians are lovely lizard-ish people and Charly is the only example that I have of them up currently.
I am in a very rare Condemned world building mood.
My very small followers list should totally ask me random questions while I doodle and plot
